Spy Sweeper Engine is damaged.

Running Spy  Sweeper with McAfee 2007,  I can install and run Spy Sweeper.  If I then   try to have it start with Windows on the next boot, there is a message.  "Spy Sweeper Engine is Damaged.  Please re-install."  Spy Sweeper tech aid has not responded.  There are a series of posts on McAfee's forums that suggest there could be a problem.  I don't mind starting it manually. Any ideas about the issue?  Thanks

I would do as the software suggests...just reinstall Spysweeper.  Make sure you get the latest build from Webroot.  I used the two together for a couple of years...and from time to time...had issues...so I would just reinstall Spysweeper and things cleared up.  I currently use Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 with Spysweeper 5.2 and with Spysweeper running, I had to uninstall the Trend Micro firewall module...for Spysweeper would lock it up.  I blame Spysweeper for most anomolies I have seen.
