I ran the TrendMicro virus scanner, it detected the malware and it cleaned it, but after restarting, I got the same message. I checked the registry and the folder where the problem was, and I couldn't find any traces of the malware, which means it's been deleted, but I keep getting the same error message.

Obviously the virus scanner didn't clean everything. Have you looked at the
Solutions page in the article and followed all of those instructions as well?
I did, but I will try again... I even started the laptop in safe mode, but still couldn't find the right registry key.
I am going to scan the computer again.
