Starting without background programs
How can you set XP to start without all the background programs.
I did this before, but can't remember how I did it. The machine runs much better, starts twice as fast and is generally healthier.
There's a way to do this through Control Panel, but I can't remember where.
Thanks

Click on Start . . run . . type msconfig and click on the startup tab . . you can deselect any program you do not want to run at startup.
