Tray Application Error
When I awoke my computer this morning, there was the following message window on my screen: "Tray Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. " To the right of this message was a Norton Ghost icon that should have been on the system tray, but was not. I rebooted and got the same thing. I went to control panel and removed the Ghost 9.0 application and rebooted and no longer had the error message, but on the initial screen I had also lost the icon for my USRobotics wireless router software, which i would like to recover. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might accomplish that?

Do you know if that software is still installed and functional? If you know the name of the program file, search the hard drive for it. When it appears in the Search results window, right-click it and select create shortcut. You'll get message asking if you want shortcut on desktop; confirm and shortcut should appear. If the icon is wrong, you can right-click it, select properties, and then click 'change icon' on shortcut tab. Browse to one you want in the program's main folder and select it.
