Troubles downloading files...Help!!!!!

Question

we have a inspiron 1520 with vista...for some reason on about half of the downloads we keep getting the message....the system administrator has set policies to prevent installation....we are logged in as the administrator just to be sure i created another account and put them also as the admin....still will not work does anyone have any other suggestions?????

Try this   start/run type: 'gpedit.msc' OK Navigate to / computer configuration/ administrator templates/ windows components/ windows installer   select 'disable windows installer'   Hit back with result

i think i figured it out seem as it only happening when trying to install the new verision of itunes8...found out that there is a problem with vista and itunes8....found out that they had a fix but it still will not work...i did download several other programs with no problems...thnaks for the help..

any ideas about itunes and vista????????????
