Trying to View PDF files, just get gibberish, help??
Hello,
First time forum user here, probably have the wrong board, I apologize. I have been trying to view some PDF format files online, and just get gibberish letters. Can someone please explain what settings I need to change to view these items, it would save me hours of toying around to figure it out. And maybe let me know which board would be more fitting for a question of this nature.
Thanks So Much!!

PDF files require either Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader. The free Reader is available from:
http://www.adobe.com
If you already have the Adobe Reader and you are still having trouble, it is likely because PDF files are not associated with the Reader. If this is the case, open Windows Explorer and locate a PDF file. Hold down the Shift key and right click on the PDF file, then choose Open With from the drop-down menu. Find the Adobe Reader in the list, select it, and check the box at the bottom to "Always use this program to open this type of file".
