Unable to click onto links

Hi, Would anyone know why I am unable to click on a link while in Windows Updates?  I tried to click on 'read more' and it would not work.  Then I tried to click onto Support link and the hand just stayed.  I have Dell 4600, running Windows XP Home, Svc Pk 1 AND just yesterday loaded McAfee software.  (down in the bottom bar I did see Java  etc. as if I could get the info from link but nothing happens.  Any info appreciated.  Thanks Barb.

Disable McAfee and see if it works.  Could be McAfee is blocking new windows, similar to blocking pop ups.

Thanks fireberd, appreciate the info.  You're probably right - had no problems until then.

Fireberd, you seem pretty knowledgeable... could you help me out here?  I am having a problem clicking on links, quite a few on the MSN website, when I click, nothing happens.  This has been happening a lot of times when I am surfing the web, different websites and it is getting very annoying!  Is there something I am missing?  I am running Windows XP.  I don't have Mcafee but I do have Norton Utilities.  A lot of times when I start MSN Messenger and that little window pops up with the news, etc...?  Anything I click on does NOT work?  I wonder why?  Help!
