Unable to load PRE install Rapid Storage Driversfor XP on Latitude E6410

I am unable to get the drivers loaded during the installation process for Windows XP on a Latitude E6410.  The file F6Readme.txt says to press F6 and load the drivers.  But Windows will only load from the diskette drive A:.  There is no diskette drive on the laptop.  How can I get Windows XP to load the drivers for the AHCI SATA Mode?

Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately, Windows XP will accept third party SCSI drivers only from Drive A, defined as a 3.5" diskette.  If you search on the Microsoft page you may still find the models of USB floppy drives that Win XP Setup will use if they are available, but these are also obsolete now and difficult to find.

You can still load the drivers, but you must make your own installation CD in order to include these drivers in the Windows XP setup files.  Go here for more information:  www.nliteos.com
