Unmountable boot volume error

My Inspiron Notebook gave me a blue screen error yesterday, a "memory dump". Trying to boot back up gave me the unmountable boot volume error.

So, I booted from the Windows WP CD and went into Recovery Console. When you get there, you are supposed to have the option of choosing the 1) Windows Operating System to recover. There is no Windows choice on mine. All I am getting is the C:\ command prompt. I can type commands at that point, except if I do anything like DIR to see a directory, I get the message that there is no drive C recognized or available. It's like drive C is gone. I can get to Drive D (seems the drive was partitioned originally this way) but then cannot get back to drive C.

Any ideas??
