Upgrade from Windows XP Media Edition 2002 to Windows XP Media Edition 2005

Question

I've heard that it's possible to go from 2004 Edition to 2005 Edition. To go from 2002 Edition to 2005 Edition you have to ask the computer manufacturer. However, it seems that you can go from the 2002 Edition to the 2004 Edition with no trouble. (how is beyond me)      I've been looking all over the DELL website to find something about a Media Edition upgrade and I haven't come up with anything. Please help!

The windows xp sp2 update will, as part of the sp2 update, upgrade MCE 2002 to MCE 2004.

people need to start tryin to get MCE 2004 upgraded to MCE 2005. no one complains any more, but other PC mafacurers are upgrading their MCE 2004 customers. why did dell have to put all-in-wonders in their dimension 4600 MCEs?! why, why, why?
