Upgrading Palm Software -

I have an older Handspring and had installed synchronization software on my Dell 4100/ ME - .

Family member recently purchased a Sony Clie - and installed the software.  It runs both our devices fine, except whenever we click the icon to open the program, we get an error message "Expreprt.exe module cannot be found".  We just click on OK, and it goes on into the program.   The error message doesn't seem to disturb the program, just causes an extra step when opening it.

I tried removing all the old software before installing the new,  and was able to do that with the Palm Desktop program, but got the same message when trying to remove the synchronization program, so I had to just drag and drop it into the trash, instead of using the add/remove programs.  Checked Programs and all seemed to be gone, before reinstalling the new updated software.

Thanks for help - ANN

Found this:

For this error, if you create a text file and name it expreprt.exe and save it in the c:\palm directory it goes away.  The software works fine with or without it.  This is the only solution I have found as reinstalling the software does nothing to fix it.

You might look around for more help.

Edit: Apologies to Warren, for some reason your response was not visible when I posted.
