Do you actually have a pdf printer installed? Just use the draft printing option on your current printer to save on costs. You can set up one printer as several printers, all with different options. I have a draft version printer, another install of the photo printing version with all the right preferences, plus a regular version--all the same printer. Actually yes I have a PDF printer installed (PDF Creator) and the reasons why I use this program is firstly to save on real printing, but also (I forgot to mention) to send overviews via internet of my work to others who don't have the program I use (ex : AutoCad).  Instead of sending a copy of the document I work on, which will never work on a computer that doesn't have the appropriate program, I simply print a PDF and send it right away.  Very easy, and viewable by anyone.  But now I'm getting tired of this box asking me to install a component of the Dell Ressource CD.  More stranger, if I click the cancel button a couple of times, my printer will open even if the missing thing is not installed.
