HERE is something from Microsoft on this.  They say to ignore it but it shouldn't be comeing up to start with.  Since this is a new PC, you may be better calling Dell support in case there is something wrong.   There was a thread on the Windows 7 about this and it can occur if you have Virtural Drive or Alcohol installed.

Thanks, Fireberd. I'd spotted the Microsoft article but wasn't sure it was applicable as the operating system scenario is totally different from mine. Guess I'll have to talk with Dell Support...
