VPN SecuRemote error

A few weeks ago I had a Blaster virus which I removed per the instructions from Microsoft/Symantics web sites.  Since that time, when I boot up I receive the following error Messages:  "VPN SecuRemote Internal Error", then "Error  you have no rights to access hosts file. Please contact your system administrator".  I am using Windows XP Home Edition, logged on as Administrator. Also since that time, I am unable to connect to any of my host computers using PCAnywhere version 11.0 (TCP/IP settings). I get the message "unable to connect to specified device".  I have searched both Symantics & Microsofts web sites and do not get a hit for any of the above error messages.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you in advance for your help.

SecuRemote is the Checkpoint VPN client - are you sure you dont have it installed from your office?

You're right, I did have the SecuRemote installed.  I uninstalled it & no longer get the error messages.  I still cannot connect to any of my pcAnywhere hosts, but I suppose that is an issue for Symantic.  Thanks for your help.
