Veri Sign File

I was attempting to download new Root Certificate from VeriSign website. Rather than opening from that location I saved it to my download folder. (Guess I should have read the instructions before rather than after). So, now that I have it what should I do with it? Should I just go back and do it again? Haven't been able to keep up to date much recently but I did read the postings concerning VeriSign and Symantec etc. Do I still need to update the Root Certificate? Thanks.

my understanding is that the problem with nav's updates has been straightened out, and that no action by end-users is needed... if you are having problems with nav, go to the symantec support home page, and run the "automated assistant" to see if it can identify any problems, and if so, correct them.. i recently installed nav 2004, and it successfully updated everything without any problems. if you are having problems, you could try uninstalling nav, and then reinstalling it..

NAV seems to be OK. Still don't quite get the whole Verisign problem. Guess I'll have to go back and do some reading. Thanks for the reply.
