Video Camera Software- Help?

Hey all,
I have just been given a video camera but the previous owner (my gran :smileyhappy:) doesn't know where the software is. I have tried connecting it to my computer (dimension 9150) but it hasn't got the correct drivers installed.  Does anyone know of any software that will allow me to edit and save my media using my comp? The camera is a JVC GR-DX100.
