Video error message in Media Center after upgrading to PowerDVD V5 (from V3)

Problem Description:
I get a Video error message in Media Center's My TV after upgrading to PowerDVD V5 (from V3) .

**

Since I upgraded to PowerDVD V5  from PowerDVD V3 (OEM with my PC), Microsoft's Media Center > My TV isn't working. I get a video error message in Media Center that states,  " The video decoder is either corrupted or missing". I'm unable to watch Live TV or recorded programs in Media Center.

Media Center > DVD and PowerDVD V5 software are working fine.

My OS is Windows XP Media Center edition. I have downloaded the following patches from Dell's support website (KB), in order to have Media Center fixed.
*)DellMCEVideo_CD22c-to-CD24a_Patch
*)R78609
*)R80551

New upgrade info for PowerDVD is
(www.gocyberlink.com > File Name: 516944 Upgrade to PowerDVD 5.0 Deluxe for version 3.0 )

Do you know a resolution or patch to this?  The error message on Microsoft Management Console is attached below:

I had the same message until I installed Microsoft's SP2. This fixed it for my PC.

Didn't work. Morover, now I can't restore to a previous date after upgrading to Windows SP2. Still waiting from Dell tech support for their opinion.

I reinstalled the original PowerDVD V 4.0.14MCE.3204 that was provided with my computer. This solved the problem.

However, I've concluded that PowerDVD V5 is incompatible with MCE. Dell, Microsoft, Cyberlink nor any forums have been able to solve this issue.

As soon as there is a patch, please let me know.
