Vista and Instant Messenger

Hi, Don't know much about computers and I am wondering Vista is not allowing me to install aol instant messenger. I tried it more than 3 times. cannot figure it out. Can anyone help me?

Do you get an error message ? Or is the download stopping ? Give more info so we can help you with your problem.

what version of AOL IM is not working? some are compatable, some arent. Try using AIM Triton, or my personal preference AIM Lite.

Probably is asking you for a administrator approval for that, try by right click on the file to install it and run it as administrator.

I use AIM Pro with Vista, no problems at all. You can download it from..

Same screenname and password no AOL ads.
