It is Vista ready. you can validate that by going to the Microsoft Vista site and downloading the program that will scan your PC and validate that it is.

I have a new E510 and it has a sticker on it that says Vista ready. I also ran the Microsoft Vista program which verified that it was.
BTW, this Networking forum section is not the place for your post. Either in the Vista Beta software section or the general hardware would have been more applicable. Posting in the most applicable forum section is best to get issues resolved.
