Volume indicator problem

Question

I reinstal my Windows, but few things is missing. One of them is the Volume indicator on the screen, whitch shows you how much up you can turn the sound when is adjusting by the front-side butttons. The same situation is with screen britness. Next on the touchpad where the little arrorws for scrolling are, they just don't scroll anymore.   What utillity could I use to fixt those problems?

As to the volume indicator icon, go to Control Panel, click Sound & Audio, and place a checkmark in 'Place volume icon in taskbar'.  That problem will be solved.  Sorry, not sure about the others.

I have icon on the task bar, but the problem is thet when I hit the front button for adjusting volume on my I9300 it does not show how high the volume is. It used to show a little box with bar. I am not talking about the classic one from windows. I thing is dells utillity...

The Windows volume indicator is the only one I'm familiar with.  Do you have a particular sound card installation CD?  If so, run it's setup routine and see what happens.  If not, the Windows volume icon may be all you can have.
