Where is the NSS (Notebook Specific Software) for an M4300?
Hi all. I reinstalled XP, and didn't get the order of drivers, etc. as recommended in the user manual for my model.
The result is that all my USB ports are seen as USB 1, not 2, and that means I can't use my shiny external audio card to make music.
I'm trying to put that right, by reinstalling in the correct order, but the manual (P101) says I should install "Notebook Specific Software" first. There's no such category on the download page on the support site (I entered by tag ID, btw).
Hopefully, there's an easier way than a reinstall - I've installed shed-loads of stuff now.
Can anyone shed some light, and even offer a helping hand?
Thanks!
