If you have the OS reinstalled, then enable it. It may have had something to do with the reader being a boot device or incompatible casuing crashed until the proper drivers were loaded.
Thanks so much, I'll try to shorten a long story, about 4 mths ago Dell Rep, Micheal_page had me do a re-install ( clean install) and at that time he never had me boot to cd-rom or disable usb to flex bay!
So I didn't this time either and now my sound or sound's will not play. unless i hook up just a regular external speaker. because my sub-woofer and speakers will not work, they do work if i hook them to something other than the computer, I'am very puzzled !
Thank's to everyone for your help but I had to do another re-install to fix the problem and I think it was my own fault, but I was more careful about the Driver installation this time and everything went well, work's great no more error message's and no more Blue Screen of Death.
