If you have the OS reinstalled, then enable it.  It may have had something to do with the reader being a boot device or incompatible casuing crashed until the proper drivers were loaded.

Thanks so much, I'll try to shorten a long story, about 4 mths ago Dell Rep, Micheal_page had me do a re-install ( clean install) and at that time he never had me boot to cd-rom or disable usb to flex bay!
So I didn't this time either and now my sound or sound's will not play. unless i hook up just a regular external speaker. because my sub-woofer and speakers will not work, they do work if i hook them to something other than the computer, I'am very puzzled !

Thanks so much for your input!
ps. I had 78+hrs of tech support with Dell
     until the warranty ran out!

Thank's to everyone for your help but I had to do another re-install to fix the problem and I think it was my own fault, but I was more careful about the Driver installation this time and everything went well, work's great no more error message's and no more Blue Screen of Death.

                    Thank You Everyone Glide 03
