Yammage,

The problem is a corrupted registry and a repair install does not correct it. The procedure to correct the problem is here. You may find it easier and quicker to simply restore your system to "as shipped" condition using the steps here.

I did try to restore "as shipped" and after a couple of off and on, it still say the same thing. I try reinstalling the hole window, and its still does that.  Is there any other ways possible to solve this problem?  Anything just so i could just this laptop, i dont even care about the warrenty anymore, i just wanna just have a reliable laptop that all!

Yammage,

Press F12 at bootup and run the Dell diagnostics on your hard drive. If you have a hardware problem Dell will correct it. The procedure for a clean installation of Windows XP is here.

I did the Clean Install and the problem still exist, i really dont know what else to do.  I wondering if removing the Origanal problems that allow me to restore it "as shipped" would solve the problem?  Because i think that currputed file is in that file, i restalled the hole window already and the problem still exist, could someone please tell me how to delete these files plz, it well be greatly appreciated.  Also if this doesnt work, would buying a new hard drive solve this problem?

Thanks
