Windows XP Media Center Edition - Boot Screen

All of a sudden my boot screen is giving me two choices

1/ Windows XP Media Center Edition

2/ Windows XP Media Center Edition (Tuneup Backup)

What is the second choice all about?

I don't know- I don't have that program. But it sounds like someone already may have made their own customized bootup screen. If you select the "backup" option at bootup, what do you see?

Do you have a program called "Tuneup Utilities 2006" installed? I believe it has a function that enables customizing bootup screens for individual users, generating that message.

Yes I do.  So that will run and do some sort of tune up if I make the second choice?

Thanks for the help

OK I gave choice 2/ a try and when XP opened I had no network connection.  I re-started with choice 1/ and my network connection was back.  I guess it isn't much of a choice.  I think I will dump the program.
