Windows XP - left side menu in My Document, My Computer, and Recycle Bin
I took my computer in for servicing a few days ago - pc maintenance and uninstalling NIS 2007 and reinstalling NIS 2008.
I noticed something different about My Document folder but couldn't pinpoint it till today. The menu bar that used to be on left side is missing. The side menu is also missing from Recycle Bin and My Computer.
Will you please tell how I can get that back?

Maybe your "Start" Menu is set to Classic. Right click "Start" and choose properties and click "Start Menu"
then click "Apply" "Ok"

Open "System" in Control Panel.
Go to the "Advanced" tab.
In the Performance Section click on "Settings."
On the Visual Effects tab check the selection for "Use common tasks in folders."
OK your way out.
