Windows Xp value creation failed at line 8 at boot

Question

My laptop is windows xp and it has an error message that either says error at line 8 or value creation failed at line 8. It happened after I downloaded Vista-Transformation-Pack 5.1. I click okay then it says i lost all data in c:/windows... I go clicking through that for like 5 minutes until it finally decides to startup. Everything works fine, but it's very annoying... Please help!

deejay2000, Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum. You may want to uninstall the program since it was the last program you installed prior to getting this error.
