Wireless Mouse WM123 scroll button not working

Question

I use a lot the scroll button of my dell mouse to pan and orbit on both AutoCAD and Sketchup, and suddently it stopped working. It is still working to roll pages on internet, but the click of the scroll button is not. The other two buttons are working fine. I tried reinstalling the driver and didn't work, think I might have bumped onto some keys on keyboard and that desactivated the function of click for the scroll. Can anyone help me?

Replace the batteries first since they might be getting weak. Then check the settings in Control Panel. Or--Mice fail all the time. Replace it. It's a cheap fix.
