Word Perfect c++ runtime error
Hello.
Word Perfect came with my new Dell, and beyond hating it...it constantly is buggy. I had this happen one time before, where it would not start, but would give me this message instead:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\WordPerfect Office 11\Programs\wpwin11.exe
abnormal program termination
I somehow fixed it before because I was able to use it - that was a few months ago. Now it started again and I can't remember what I did. I seem to remember going into where there were .dll files and finding some that needed to be removed or moved...but I can't remember where I got those instructions.
Can anyone help me? Does this happen to anyone else? Where are the .dll files found, and what do I need to do?

julesvern97,
Thanks for using the Dell Community Forums.
This can be caused by a default template that has somehow become corrupted. You may want to try deleting the default template and let Word Perfect create a new one.
open Windows Explorer click on the Tools Menu
Select Folder Options
Click on the View tab
Select Show hidden files and folders
Click OK
Delete or rename the default template wp11us.wpt located in
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Corel\PerfectExpert\11\Custom WP Templates\WP11US.WPT
Start Word Perfect to have it create a new default template.
Respectfully,
