XP Application Error
I keep getting this message when I try to install a game.
WOW EXEC caused a general protection fault in module mmsystem.dll at 000A:0032.
How can I correct this problem?

The game is Cabelas Big Game Hunter 2004.
It used to work. I decided I wanted to play it today. And when I click onthe desktop icon,the error message comes up.
So I decided to uninstall it, and now when I go to re-install it, I get this message when I click on "install"

Have you attempted to search that error on the knowledge base for the manuf of that particular game? Some errors are program specific, and often the producers of games will post known issues with its install/operation as they become apparent.
Another suggestion would be to provide us with more details...What game? Ect...
