Click Start > Run > type, msconfig > Click, 'BOOT.INI' tab > Then check 'all boot paths' tab > Click on that and a message box should should open, showing the non-valid operating system, click on 'yes' if you wish to delete it, or 'no' if you don't, close the boxes and reboot the system.

Check the nag box, telling Windows not to display that message again, so it will not be displayed in the future.
