XP Home vs Pro performance

Question

I have a Dimension 4500 2.4 Ghz with 512 MB RAM.  My computer came with XP home.  I sometimes reformat and reinstall windows whenever performance drops noticeably or there are issuses that can't be resolved.  I have not been able to slipstream my Dell XP Home CD with SP2 (I'll tried everything!!!) so the reinstall process is a bit of a pain since after installing windows I have to install SP2.  I have a retail XP Pro CD that I have slipstreamed to include SP2 so reinstalling is a bit easier.  I am wondering if there is any performance differences between the two versions of XP.  I do not use any of the features that Pro has (home user, no network) and I turn off alot of services in both so that they are both running the same services.  I have noticed that Pro uses 5-10 MB more RAM.  So that was a long winded way of asking if either version has better overall performance.  Thanks for any info

lol, after my ridiculously long question, a nice one work response.  Thanks, that's what I thought.  I guess I'll use the XP Pro since it has SP2 on it even though I have to key in the serial number (which the Dell CD doesn't need).  Thanks again
