XP Repair - Missing File

Question

I'm in the process of repairing XP from the reinstall disk. It gets to the 'Installing Windows' option and stops with 'Files Needed' msg. The file it's looking for is 'asms' which is on the reinstall disk. There is a box to enter the path to the file. No matter what path I put in the box, it doesn't recognize it. It doesn't recognize the CD drive.

THANK YOU, I was able reload XP, but now I have another problem. I can not run updates because I'm not administrator. I went into the boot setup screen for system security and added  passwords to the different fields, except 'config setup' which is disabled. I'm missing something....   Thanks again
