XP has NTFS file system, ZIP drive FAT. Compatible?
The last peripheral successfully installed on my new Dell Dimension 8300 is my old Iomega 250 USB ZIP drive. I notice there is a difference in file systems. XP uses NTFS (whatever that is) and the ZIP drive says FAT. My old computer's OS was Windows 98SE, using the FAT 32 system. Will there be any conflict between the two file systems when I try to use the ZIP drive to save or retrieve data? Is it reasonable or desirable to convert the ZIP drive to NTFS if there is a way to do it?

If you haven't done so already, you should make sure your IomegaWare version is 3.1 or higher.
