XP modus in Windows7 professional Error running DOS programs
Hi, I have a ¨problem running dos programs in windows XP modus in Windows 7 prof. on a Dell XPS 8100, i860, ATI hd 5700.
The error message is: cannot initialize video device for a full screen. Does anayone know a solution?

Hi, The XP mode in Win 7 Pro has 2 drawbacks that I have found. Because it is not the full XP package, it wont render 2D and 3D, and it will effect your video, so no movies and no games which require 2 and 3D will play. Microsoft have said, it only there to run applications. But if your after full DOS, try running FREEDOS HERE, in VM mode, I have heard that people were even running Win 3.1, and Win 95 in VM mode.
