You might want to  go to Microsoft's site and run the "Upgrade Advisor for WIn 7". This will check out all your hardware and software for 32 & 64bit. It will tell you which you can do and what the compatibility issues are for your system. I'm sure you will have drivers issues based on the age of the 630i. Go to Dell support page and see if there are any win 7 drivers for your tag number.

Hope this gives you some insight where to start.
