blue screen error code 0x000000ed Unmountable_boot_volume
Can someone please help me with this...It tells me to go into safe mode, but the system will not let me...it takes me right back to the blue screen error page.
I have a dell dimension 5100 with windows xp media center edition.
I would appreciate any help available.

Try solutions in http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm
Either click on the RHS panel shortcut link – ED: Unmountable Boot Volume, or
Scroll down to 0x000000ED: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
PS: Probably not good news but your hard drive could be busted?
Try running Dell Diagnostics – tap the F12 key during boot process
