bluetooth stack

in the windows vista upgrade advisor it says that my bluetooth stack has compatability problems. If it is by toshiba, (odd since it is a dell) how can I fix it?

Hey!

You need to completely remove the stack. When you install Windows Vista, Dell offers drivers specifically for this Windows, but in most cases the Upgrade Advisor will reinstall the compatible stack when Windows is upgraded by itself. The Bluetooth is produced by Dell, however the stacks and drivers are provided by other companies - same as if you have a Samsung Hard Drive, but have a PartitonMagic that is produced by other company, and with Drivers that are default in Windows produced by Microsoft Corporation. :)

Hope this helps
