compatibility issue quickbooks 99 help!
Just downloaded quickbooks 99 to a new dell inspiron 530 with windows vista. (windows vista home premium)
can't open quickbooks help.
a window opens and reads:
"the help for this program was created in windows help format, which was used in previous versions of windows and is not supported in windows vista.
then continues:
(winHlp32.exe) is no longer included with windows."
How can i get the vista o/s system to allow access to the help option in quickbooks?
Tried the compatibility wizard and no success.
quickbooks 99 has worked perfectly in the old computer with windows xp.
note: don't need or want to upgrade QB 99 as program works fine for my small business needs.

A quick Google for "winhlp32.exe Vista" found this from Microsoft which may help:

Actually, I'm kind of impressed Quickbooks '99 works in Vista. My copy of Quicken '97 didn't even work in XP.
