download XP drivers, etc
:emotion-6: Reinstalled XP Service Pack 2 on Dell 4600C. There are no software programs on disk - have connected wire to Router and cannot get on internet on that computer. Can anyone Please tell me What is necessary for me to access interenet so I can download what I need from Dell to make computer functional? I want to save whatever I download to disk so I can install it on that computer. I am using different computer with Vista. Thank you. Gunlawyer.

If you put in the service tag from the PC into the DELL site it will bring up a list of all the drivers, you need to NIC/Network driver to get the ethernet port working.
Obviously you would have to do this from another pc as yours hasnt got the driver yet. :emotion-1:
