error code 4400:011A
hi, i recently rebooted my laptop because of a virus infection, after rebooting i noticed that the icons and the overall resolution of the laptop was increased and the icons appeared big and internet pages would not fit on the screen, i tried to address, but have had no luck. i later ran a diagnostics test and was shown an error code - 4400:011A. Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Have you tried reinstalling the video card drivers back into the system? It sounds like this needs to be done. Your video card could be faulty as well.

You should have received a drivers and utliltied disk with your computer when it was shipped. If not, you can go to the Dell.com drivers download page and download the driver for your video car.

You will need to post the system you have and the operating system that is installed. You can also send me your system service tag in a private message. This way I can take a look at what hardware is installed on your computer and point you to the correct video card driver you need.

You know this is real funny I just got off the phone with Hardware tech.. because of this error message they diagnosed that it was my hard drive that is NFG and they are going to replace it ..and you are saying it is Video card... I have a Studio XPS 1 day old... You techs are like the blind leading the blind ...Tring to give someone advice and you don't even KNow........
