how to dual boot

i have a dell dimension 3000 with 2.8ghz p4 and 1gb ram and 128 mb geforce fx 5500 card. I have two 80gb hard drives and one i have xp installed the other i have vista home premium installed. when i turn the computer on it automatically goes to windows xp so how do i get it to have a choice in windows load

Downloaded Windows from torrent is not so legall, at least be from MSDN or so...
You need a bootable DVD to install Vista clean or on a dual boot.

As I see right now, you could get that HDD from another computer and attached to your computer... It was that way?
I'm pretty sure you need to install Vista on the second HDD right now, to get what you want

no i downloaded off of utorrent and ran the setup no cd or anything

Did you copied (cloned) the content of a HDD with Vista, and then connect that hard drive on the computer... That will not work

not in a legal matter can i say it that way downloaded and then installed from my portable hardrive with the second har drive totally disconected
