If you would like your web browser to go to a certain page, you can make that your home page and then go to it by clicking the icon on your browser's toolbar.

Alternatively, you may use the links bar on the browser to jump to frequently accessed sites.

The Taskbar may not be what you need, if I understand your question, but this is a good guide to the Taskbar.

Yes,perhaps I am not explaining myself clearly. This is what I want: my IP is AOL and when I enter the internet AOL puts its homepage on the display. Now its alright since I am checking my E-mail there but I use Yahoo as my browser which has a shortcut icon on my desktop.Aol homepage covers up my whole desktop and if I want to get to Yahoo I have to minimize AOL homepage to be able to see and use the shortcut to Yahoo.I like to have a shortcut icon of Yahoo on my Taskbar whch would make it much easier to click on and have Yahoo come up.Is this possible?

Thank you very much...

Yes, one way is to click/hold and drag a copy of the shortcut icon from the Desktop to the Quick Launch area of the Taskbar.

Do you have Quick Launch enabled. Right click on the task bar
Click properties, in the box that pops up put a check next to
show  Quick Launch  Apply then ok. Now you can drag the icon
to the QL box next to the Start button. Good luck
