The application, C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 08/06/2004 @ 07:35:57.203 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 77F581BD (ntdll!RtlAllocateHeap)

Also, the event log is also showing lots of entries resulting from: "Access is denied." These are files on my c: drive...

I also copied a backup file of MS Money onto the D: drive (2nd partition of main hard drive) and it gives me this error:

Money cannot locate 'c:\...filename...' or cannot open it, possibly because it is a read-only file or you do not have permission to change it or your drive is write protected.

I can get the properties, and it's not in use or a read-only file. help???

**UPDATE 8/8/04**
I created a test.doc file in Word XP (logged in as an limited account which I updated to admin privlages) - and now I cannot delete it. When I tell it to delete, it pauses for 4-5 seconds, then gives me this error: Cannot delete test.doc: It is being used by another person or program."

I'm the only one logged in, and word isn't even open. This sounds like a similar problem that I've been having with the money files (above).

Please help!!!
