I had the same problem a while back. I had to make a new link under favorites and delete the old one. Might try that. get logged in and where you want to be each time and then add this new link to favorites. Delete the old one and try again and see what happens.

Wow, really? Seems it has worked for most people I mentioned it to. Are you allowing 3rd party cookies? Maybe do a search on the entire Dell board and I will look also. There was a lot pf post on this and several things that worked for people. I think the answer is here for you. Oh, on the new link I think I made that by not using the old one at all. Meaning go to dell.com and find the board like that under support and then signed in and made the new link. Maybe that is the next thing to try.

I did  your last suggestion. How do I allow third party cookies?  All of my other forums but the dell ones stay logged on. This one is ok as long as I stay on internet explorer but if I go to foxfire or any other browser and then come back to ie 7 I have to sign in again.

If you have a firewall you may want to go to the settings for it under programs allowed and make sure it is allowed and also under I think security or internet security. All these firewall programs are not the same. Got to tell you though, I don't have IE7 so maybe that is a different situation. I also don't have foxfire. I do know that when Dell upgraded these boards many people have this problem and each have found some resolutions for it. I will keep looking also.

I experienced various small problems with IE7 that I could not get the answers to. I just un-installed IE7 and installed IE6 and wa-la no more problems. In my opinion there are not enough things in IE7 that make it worth the hassle. JMO  Dudley

I have had internet explorer 7 since it was taken off beta and the forums worked just fine and stayed logged on until about a couple of weeks ago. I love internet explorer 7  It works just fine this is the only problem I have had  all the other forums that I am a member of, stay logged on, it is just the dell ones that won't.
