Hi Dell-Chris B,

The issue still exists. I have done all the steps listed in the link provided. I have updated to the latest flash player. It is installed succesfully and checked with the test file given in the Adobe site.
But the same error is showing " to run this program, you need to install flash player first" when I tried to connect camcorder.

Previously I used to work with same camcorder in my system I have done many movies. For last 6 months I am not using the camcorder. Just started using again 2 days back, it is giving an error.Previously Macromedia_flash_player7 is there in my system( I do not know when it is installed.) I have updated with the latest flash player.

Pl. let me know how to resolve this issue.

Thanks
Navsar

You might try using a search engine for other possible fixes, or post your question on our TechTalk - Software - Other Software/OS board. This is not a Windows XP or Dell hardware issue.

Or contact Picture Package directly for support. Refer to the following link:

Good luck.

Try:
1 go to

to uninstall flash player. This will clean up any corrupted install.
Then
2. Go to

To install the latest version (uncheck Google toolbar, unless you want it).
