mpeg decoder for mce

Question

I had to reinstall windows xp mce on my desktop and I cant't seem to find the right mce compatiblempeg decoder for my hauppage tv card. spent several hours trying to get it from dell support with no luck. Does anyone know how to get it.. Please help   It does not appear to be in the media software from Sonic

Look for the drivers for your tv card at Dell Downloads (if it came with the computer) or better still at Hauppauge support site. You don't say what computer model you have and whether you have all the driver disks. Contact Dell through Chat or email for help. Chat is more efficient than calling.

Good luck. I'm having the same problem with a E510 Angel II dual tuner.

All the drivers are installed, every device is working properly. In another thread they say PowerDVD is needed to get the correct decoder, but I think mine has MyDVD.

I had to order the discs because the Dell Restore Partition is gone.
