my laptop shuts off after booting

i have a dell intel core i5 n5010 laptop . i switched on the button and it booted showing stating windows.After 2-3 seconds it power off automatically. i used safe mode option but it does not resolve .there are no chances of overheating problem.please help me to rectify my problem.

Hi Vananrmani,

Welcome to the Community. 

I would recommend you to perform a Pre Boot System Assessment (PSA Diagnostics). To launch PSA diagnostics, please press and hold “Fn” key while turning on the system. Hold it down until the diagnostic starts. For more information click the link mentioned below:

Thank you DELL-MANSHU,

                          i tried PSA diagnostic test,the laptop automatically power off while the diagnostic test was in progress at LCD GRAPHICS TEST,all the test before LCD GRAPHICS TEST was PASS.Also one thing i noticed is that while switching ON the laptop the exhaust FAN is not rotating.can this problem may be due to overheating.If so how to rectify it please help me to recover from the problem.

Hi Vananrmani,

If the fan is not moving, it needs replacement.
