need help with graphic drivers!!
I have a dell Inspiron 15R N5010 laptop.
windows 7 32-bit Os with Intel HD graphics.
In device manager before having issues with the graphics it used to show " Intel HD graphics' Under Display adapter.
Now it shows Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.
I deleted the display adapter driver by mistake. So i installed a new driver from dell drivers and downloads.
But now my display is not upto the mark. In screen resolution i used to get a resolution of 1366 x 768 in MOBILE PC DISPLAY MODE.
Now there is nothing such as MOBILE PC DISPLAY. Instead i get an option as '(Default Monitor) on Intel(R) HD Graphics' with a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768.
so now the display is really wierd and stretched.
So please help me to find the actual drivers which are needed.
plz reply back. :)

Are you sure it is 32 bit and not 64 bit?
The Dell drivers and download page for your system only lists 64 bit Windows 7 and 64 bit Windows Vista.
Go to the start menu, right click computer and go to properties (this page will tell you if its 32 bit or 64 bit and whether or not SP1 is installed) and then select device manager.
Right click "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" and select "update driver software..."
If that doesn't change then uninstall the device (make sure to to check the box "delete driver software for this device"). Then go to start>computer>uninstall or change a program>uninstall the driver.
Reboot and reinstall the driver here (assuming it is 64 bit Windows 7, it should be a 39 MB file and once you click it, it should extract and then run an installer). See how that goes.

Do you have the same system (N5010), using the same graphics (onboard Intel)? Assuming that you do (otherwise it is not the "exact same problem") and you have installed Windows 7 32-bit on it for some reason ... then go to Intel.com to find a 32-bit driver for the graphics:
www.intel.com/.../detect
Once you have the correct driver installed, right-click the Desktop, Screen Resolution, and set the Resolution to the highest.
