notepad.exe

Question

How do you reinstall notepad in windows 98 se? I have a corrupted copy-I think. It just does not work at all.

Thanks Flooby!  How do you figure out what these cab files are? Is there a list somewhere? I will give this a try.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;129605   Notepad.exe is located in the Win98_41.cab compressed folder.   Edit: If you don't find notepad.exe in Win98_41.cab, check Win98_46.cab.  The MSKB file listing for Win98 shows it in 41, but a search of the actual CD locates it in 46.
