nt 4.0 logging
Does anyone know how I can disable inserting a user name and password when logging in to NT workstation as a stand-alone computer.
I don't want to enter any user-name or password, to use the computer
thanks

vmi5,
Not sure about Windows NT but in Windows 98 you can find the .pwl flee un the C:\Windows folder and delete it. Or, if you can get into the network properties dialog box, change the Primary Windows Logon to Windows Logon, then reboot . When it asks for username and password don't enter a password and don't hit cancel. The next time you boot it shouldn't ask for a password. I know that it is not the same as NT but this may give you some idea how to start. You should go to the Microsoft web site for further information.
